Caroline Smith is a professional artist, who trained at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art & Design, and Central St. Martin's School of Art. Caroline currently lives in Bournemouth, England.

Artist's statement

I am an image maker.

 

My work is mixed media - collage, digital, handmade, photography and installation.

 

I'm interested in the subversion of familiar things, the juxtaposition of chaos and order, the extraordinary within the ordinary, ironic imagery and doodling.

 

I enjoy mixing hand made imagery with digital. My work can be one or the other, often a mixture of both.

Giclée prints

Original artwork and photographs by Caroline Smith are available as giclée prints at various sizes. The prints are professionally created using archival quality pigmented inks onto various media including canvas, fine art and photo-base papers. The inks are UV stable and have a guaranteed lifespan of over 100 years.

All prints are supplied unframed, and can be posted to any address supplied. Prices for prints on application, and vary according to size.

 

Recommendations can be given for local framers in Bournemouth.

 

Projections

I'm also interested in the projection of images, and it's possible to run a cycle of my images as an installation at any venue. Please contact me for more information.
